What does HPLC-RTM mean on a peptide COA?
Short answer
HPLC-RTM means identity confirmed by HPLC retention-time matching: the sample and an authentic reference standard of the peptide are run on the same HPLC method, and identity is confirmed when they elute at the same time. ILS Laboratories describes it as chromatographic retention time comparison with a reference standard. 16 Clean Peptide lot pages list it.

Read from the live lot pages on 30 October 2026. The other ILS lots list the same test as "HPLC" with the compound name as the result; their certificates carry the same retention-time note.
Retention-time matching is a comparison, not a mass measurement. It shows the sample behaves like the reference standard on that method. Mass spectrometry, which measures the molecule's mass directly, is not listed on any current Clean Peptide lot page.
The same HPLC run also gives the purity figure, so one method supports two results on the certificate.
