What does HPLC-DAD mean on a peptide COA?
Short answer
HPLC-DAD is HPLC with a diode-array detector, which records ultraviolet absorbance across a range of wavelengths at once rather than at a single wavelength. HYTE Research Division uses it on Clean Peptide's certificates for identity on all 7 of its lots, and for purity on GLP-2 Tirz 20 mg, Selank Spray and KPV.
Lots whose identity is listed as HPLC-DAD
| Product | Size | Laboratory | Identity result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adamax Spray | 20 mL | HYTE Research Division | Adamax confirmed |
| DSIP Spray | 20 mL | HYTE Research Division | DSIP confirmed |
| GLP-2 Tirz | 20 mg | HYTE Research Division | Tirzepatide |
| PT-141 Spray | 20 mL | HYTE Research Division | PT-141 confirmed |
| Selank Spray | 20 mL | HYTE Research Division | Conforms to reference standard |
| Semax Spray | 20 mL | HYTE Research Division | Semax confirmed |
| KPV | 10 mg | HYTE Research Division | KPV confirmed (certificate) |
Read from the live lot pages on 30 October 2026. KPV is read from the certificate image; its lot page does not list the method yet.
Purity results by HPLC-DAD on the current lots: GLP-2 Tirz 20 mg 99.89% (specification more than 99%), Selank Spray 99.74% (not less than 98.0%) and KPV 99.89% (more than 99.0%).
Like retention-time matching, DAD identity compares the sample with a reference on the same method; it does not measure molecular mass.
